The final fortnight of 2023 commenced with a captivating journey to Dunbar, Scotland. The breathtaking scenery was complemented by the finest motorway service cafeterias I’ve ever encountered, complete with a mini-castle in one of the car parks!

The purpose of the Dunbar trip was to retrieve a Mercedes Pagoda shell from a local storage facility. The mission: transport it to a Mercedes Specialist near London, where, over approximately 750 man hours, the shell would undergo a remarkable transformation into a like-new Pagoda.
From London, the next destination was Farnham to pick up a magnificent 1997 Bentley Continental Mulliner. Its journey continued to an asbestos testing facility in Somerset before being dispatched to an eagerly awaiting Australian customer in the coming New Year.
A swift exchange of car trailers paved the way for the retrieval of a remarkably rare MG SV from Swanage—one of only four prototypes. Meticulously preserved by its owner for the past 15 years, this automotive gem was loaded up and dispatched to its new custodian in Sheffield, destined to be cherished in the next chapter of its storied history.
The Isle of Wight beckoned for the collection of a Golf GTi, subsequently delivered to an auction site near Bath. There, it awaited preparation for resale in the approaching year.
With these and other collections and deliveries, the curtain fell on a bustling couple of weeks. After covering countless miles, it was finally time for the last wash and cleaning session for my truck and enclosed car trailer in 2023. Then, with a sense of accomplishment, it was time to unwind and usher in the Christmas holiday!
I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone for the tremendous support throughout 2023. As the year draws to a close, I would like to take this moment to express my sincere wishes for a joyful and prosperous New Year to each and every one of you!
