The start of 2024 has been incredibly busy, beginning with a treat for my first collection and delivery: a stunning 1968 Ford Mustang 390GT.
It was collected from Swanage and delivered to Modurstang near Oxford for recommissioning. The Mustang, having been in long-term storage, needed to run smoothly for the Summer Car Shows of 2024.
Next, I was off to collect another beauty, a Triumph GT6 mk3, emerging from storage. I delivered this to the docks, ready for shipping out in February.

With a quick turnaround, I headed to Somerset to collect a retired engineer’s specially adapted Triumph Rockett 3 Trike, allowing him to ride pillion around his home near Glasgow.
After a brief return home, it was off to collect a 1971 Lotus Elan from Selsey and deliver it to Paul Mason Autospray in Peterborough for a full respray. This vehicle held sentimental value for my customer, as he had proposed to his wife many years ago in it.
Then, onto something truly special—a 1965 Mk1 Lotus Cortina collected from Wokingham and delivered to North Lincolnshire. The renovation on this vehicle was remarkable, including a bare shell respray and a full engine rebuild. The customer plans to drive the Lotus Cortina to many Summer shows in 2024, so keep an eye out for it!
Back to Somerset again to collect a 1928 Crossley and the 1930 Rolls Royce, which I had delivered for asbestos testing at the end of last year. The pair was delivered to Southampton Docks, ready for shipping to Australia in February.

Overall, the beginning of 2024 has been fantastic, with numerous new customers taking me to some stunning locations all over the UK and there’s plenty more trips on the calendar for the coming months ahead! Until the next blog, drive safe everyone!
