The last week or so has seen RWT travel up and down the UK transporting various vehicles to new and existing clients. We started with a journey to Frome in Somerset to retrieve a Porsche 996 destined for an Australian client. I conducted a comprehensive inspection of the vehicle, including V5 and VIN plate checks. After loading it, I proceeded to Philip Raby Cars for final checks before its transported to the docks for its onward journey to Australia.

Following on from that was a Caterham 7, which had been left for asbestos testing some time ago. Given the all-clear, we picked it up and delivered it to Felixstowe, preparing it for shipment to the owner’s son residing in Australia.
Midweek involved numerous collections and deliveries across the country. Notably, a striking Ferrari 456 GTA which was taken from storage and transported to Sportsitalia for servicing and tuning.
Moving into the subsequent week, we headed to Harrow to collect a rare and stunning Jaguar E-Type Roadster in blue with a white leather interior. This vehicle was a special order for a customer who has cherished it for 45 years, and it is nearing completion of a full restoration.
Continuing our journey and onto our next job, we collected a stunning 1950 Rolls Royce Silver Wraith from Frank Dale and Stepsons Heritage Rolls Royce and Bentley Specialists. Despite initial concerns about fitting, it into the trailer, there was ample space in the end. The vehicle was safely delivered to storage for preparation, gearing up for an auction in January 2024.
A visit to Watford followed, involving the collection of a brand-new Kawasaki Z900S for delivery to Poole docks, where it would be shipped to the Channel Islands. These activities wrapped up a couple of busy weeks, leading us into the final week before Christmas with more collections and deliveries throughout the UK.
As we approach the holiday season, I would like to extend my warmest wishes for a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous and healthy New Year to all my clients!
